Virginia Anderson

Mrs. Virginia Anderson, age 68 of Cleveland, passed away Sunday October 6, 2013 at Towns County Hospital. Mrs. Anderson was born in White County, the daughter of the late Ella Turner Jackson and Joe (Bunk) Jackson. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Jackson, Glen Jackson and Ray Jackson. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church and was employed by Babyland General Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Anderson, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Suzanne and Robert Abernathy, Cleveland; grandchildren, Ella Abernathy and Anna Abernathy, both of Cleveland; sister and brother in law, JoAnn and Coy Robinson, Dahlonega; brothers and sisters in law, Allen and Verlene Jackson, Paul and Brenda Jackson, all of Cleveland; sisters in law, Carol Jackson, LaVerne Jackson both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday October 8, 2013 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Joe Vernon, the Rev. Chris Anderson and the Rev. Robert Abernathy will officiate. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
