Virginia Carter

Virginia Eddie Carter, age 93, of Clermont, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. Mrs. Carter was born on June 15, 1927, in Gwinnett County, to the late James and Ida Allison Shedd. She was a retired nurse’s aid and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and also attended Christian Hill Baptist Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Sarge Carter; sisters, Lois Dover, Ann Dover, and Harley Shedd. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Pruitt Hospice for their compassionate care. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Steve Armor will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the graveside service.
