Virginia ( Jinny) Helen Winder

Mrs. Virginia (Jinny) Helen Winder age 92 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday March 31, 2009 at a private Health Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Winder was born on July 15, 1916 in St Clair Illinois to the late Paul and Alice Lieb. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul M. Winder, daughter, Patricia Sable and sister June Waldvogel. Mrs. Winder was a graduate of Southern Illinois Normal School and had lived in White County since 1983. Survivors include her son and daughter in law Paul and Brenda Winder of Cleveland daughters and sons in law, Phyllis and Phillip Gilbert of Oceanside CA, Peggy and Phil McMeans of Riverside California; sister Eleanor Swihart of McDonald KS; brother, Edgar Lieb of Crestview, FL; grandchildren, Danny Winder, Melissa Mayton, Jonathan Gilbert, Jerod Gilbert, Jason Gilbert, Hannah McMeans, Jacob McMeans, Timothy Sable, Gabriel Sable, Micah Sable; 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday April 3, 2009 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Dr. Steve Winter will officiate. Burial will follow in Gateway Memory Park.
