Virginia Mildred Westmoreland

Virginia Mildred Westmoreland, age 75 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Westmoreland was born May 9, 1939 in Blairsville, GA to the late Jeff and Clara Reid Nix. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sons Larry Westmoreland, Tommy Westmoreland and sister Shirley Staton. Survivors include her husband, Jewell Westmoreland; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Brian Asherbranner, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Bella Asherbranner, Brantley Asherbranner, Trevor Westmoreland, Chase Westmoreland, Dylan Westmoreland, Tyler Westmoreland; niece Renae Tanguay. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2015 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner and the Rev. Wayne Turk will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
