Virginia Hall Young passed away in Cleveland on November 2, 2021. She was born on June 4, 1926, to the late Earl and Hattie Goff Hall in Knoxville, Tennessee. Up until very recently, Virginia enjoyed her family, friends, genealogy, and a martini everyday at 5:00 P.M. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death BY her husband of 37 years, Ramon G. Young; brother, Clifford Hall. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Erbele, Sautee, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Jane Mears, Anderson, SC; stepsons, Ramon G. Young II and wife Connie, Oxnard, CA; Dennis L. Young, DVM and wife Lauren, Columbus, GA; stepdaughter, Teresa Young, Columbus; nine grandchildren: Mary Lecy Golden, Nancy Golden, Johnathan Mears, Sarah Burriss, R.G. Young III, Kimberly Young Parker, Matthew Young, Katherine Adkins, and Ian Young; five great-grandchildren; her brother Jimmy and his wife, Sue Hall, Headland, AL. The family wishes to thank the very kind people of Hospice and Laurel Lodge in Cleveland. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
