Vondre' Nelson

Vondre’ Majer Nelson, age 20, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Vondre’ was born on March 2, 2006, in Gainesville, GA to Willie Nelson, Jr. and Toni Brooks Nelson. He was a 2024 graduate of White County High School and attended United Methodist College in North Carolina, where he was majoring in business and accounting.

Vondre’ loved to explore nature. His hobbies included biking, hiking and fishing. He lit up the room when he walked in, always had a smile and made everyone laugh. Vondre’s unique spirit touched everyone deeply. He showed grace, respect, kindness and compassion to everyone. Vondre’ was also known for his athleticism in track and football, where he always encouraged everyone around him. He will truly be missed by many, especially his family.

He leaves behind His parents, Toni & Willie Nelson Jr; siblings, Horizon Marie Nelson, Lucciani Willie Nelson, Elijah William Nelson, Willie Gavin Nelson, Kaylyn Monay Nelson & Keontravious Grimes; grandparents, Jennie Teasly, Cleveland GA, Susan & Donald Trump of Palm Bay, FL, and Pam & Willie Nelson Sr. of Bastrop, LA.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday, April 27, 2026 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Monday, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
