Wallace Edge

Wallace James Edge, age 60, of Gainesville, passed away on August 3, 2026.

Mr. Edge was born on August 13, 1965, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Linda Friend Edge and the late Walter Edge. He will be remembered for his personality, his kind heart, and willingness to help others. Wallace was preceded in death by his father, Walter Edge; brother, Brian Wallace; nephews, Jonathan and Joseph Root.

Survivors include his mom and step-dad, Linda and Richard Simmons; sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Ed Davis; nieces and nephews, Anthony Carpenter, Christopher Jones, and Eric Root.

Memorial services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Thursday, August 13, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Mr. Joe Duke will officiate.
