Walter G. Campbell Jr.

Mr. Walter G. Campbell, Jr., age 82 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Union County Nursing Home. Mr. Campbell was born on June 27, 1931, in Port Jervis, New York, to the late Walter G. Campbell, Sr. and Florence Brophy Campbell. He was retired from the United States Army as a draftsman and was a member of Cleveland United Methodist Church. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his sister Mabel. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Janice Campbell; son, Christopher Campbell; grandchildren, Michael and wife Tiffany Campbell, Melinda Campbell, Rachael Campbell; great-grandson, Nathanel Campbell; nieces, Janice Probert Tupper and Jennifer Probert Robinson. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom McElroy will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Palm Beach Memorial Park in Palm Beach, Florida. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
