Wilborn Marion Nix

Wilborn Marion Nix, age 86 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Nix was born November 22, 1926 in Cleveland to the late Marion and Marie Self Nix. He was a self-employed roofer and was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Nix was preceded in death by his brothers, J.B. Nix, Herbert Nix and sister, Marvene Beavers. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Nix, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Nix, Cleveland; brother, Shorty Nix, Baldwin; sisters, Ruth Ann Blackwell, Cleveland; Norma Jane Mesimer, Loganville; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Edward Hood will officiate. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park.
