William "Bill" Henry Peters

William “Bill” Henry Peters, age 85 of Sautee, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017.   Mr. Peters was born February 17, 1931 in Wallington, NJ to the late Henry and Henrietta Koppenall Peters. Bill was a Veteran of the United States Navy where he served with the Sea Bees during the Korean War. He was a member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Dill, Ruth Peters and brother, Johnny Peters.   Survivors include his wife Barbara Peters, Sautee; son, Richard Peters, Bordentown, NJ; sister, Etta Wright, East Rutherford, NJ; brother, Henry Peters, Toms Creek, NJ; 3 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Andee Courson and the Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt.
