William Blaine "Bill" Cook

Mr. William Blaine “Bill” Cook, age 74 of Cleveland, Georgia formerly of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, Georgia. Born in Lenoir, North Carolina on April 08, 1934, Mr. Cook was the son of the late Barney and Anna Lee Trivett Cook. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, was a fireman paramedic with the Los Angeles Fire Department, and the owner of a cabinet manufacturing company. Mr. Cook was an honorary life-time member of the Georgia Association of Wood Turners and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland. He loved music, fishing in Alaska, and singing in the church choir. Mr. Cook was a dedicated father and friend. Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly O’Brien Cook, Cleveland; daughter, JoAnna Killingsworth, Cumming; sons, Philllip Todd Cook, Villa Rica; William Michael Cook, Dallas, GA; step-daughter, Dana Iacono, Cleveland; Lori Sotelo, Merceris, WS; sisters, Kathleen Cooke, JoAnne Moore, both of Lenoir, NC; brother, Lowell Cooke, Cartersville; 12 grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Cleveland with Dr. Robert Massey and the Rev. Dennis Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Lenoir, North Carolina on Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday.
