William "Duck" Donald Hammond Jr.

William Donald “Duck” Hammond, Jr, age 48, of Dahlonega, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020. Mr. Hammond was born in Athens, Georgia, on March 4, 1972 to the late Donnie and Linda Freeman Hammond. He was a retired cable contactor and worked for JC Contactors. Survivors include wife, Tina Hammond; sons, Timothy Hammond, Jake Hammond; step daughters, Jessica Myers, Ashley Do; step sons, Matthew Nguyen, Rex Armour; brother, Richard Hammond; grandchildren, Eliza Hammond, Landon Stringer, Cameron Stringer, as well as his brother in law, Jerry Fair of Dahlonega. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jason Hester will officiate.
