William Farrell Mccallister

William Farrell McCallister, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2020. He was born in White County to the late Barney Lee and Lessie Ruby McCallister. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Pilgrim; brother, Hayward McCallister & son, Hank McCallister. Survivors include wife Sandra McCallister, Cleveland; daughters, Sherry Gailey, Cornelia; Amy Ruis, Cleveland; son, Shane Griffin, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy & Robby Nelms, Clarkesville; brother and sister-in-law, David and Frances McCallister, Cleveland; 8 grandchildren, Faith Davis, Linton Adams, Ethan Adams, Cordell Adams, Molly Dixon, Pearl Ruth Moody, Hank Griffin, & Heidi Ryan; 5 great grandchildren & 10 nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday March 23, 2020 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Flynn and the Rev Clarence Reynolds will officiate. Interment will follow at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12-2 P.M. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
