William Harry Higgins III, age 57 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Higgins was born November 4, 1956 in Ypsilanti, MI. to Janet Ellen Higgins and the late William H. Higgins Jr. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and worked for Trans South Logistics. He was preceded in death by his grandparents William H. Higgins Sr. and Bridey H. Higgins. Survivors include his wife, Brenda M. Higgins; mother, Janet Ellen Higgins; son, Steven A. Bowers; daughter, Natasha J. Shield; brother, Arnold A. Higgins; grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Samuel Bowers, Shaun Johnson, Seth Bowers, and Sonja Bowers; step grandchildren Brandon Shields, Trenton Shields, Dylan Shields and Alexander Shields. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday October 14, 2014 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Mr. William Mead will officiate.
