William E. Mooney

William E. Mooney age 90, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016. Mr. Mooney was born in Chester, Pennsylvania the son of the late George and Dorothy Esrey Mooney. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Mooney, brothers, Joe Mooney, Tom Mooney and sister, Dorothy Mooney. He was retired from Jim Hardman GMC and was of the Baptist Church. Mr. Mooney was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in World War 11 and was present at the flag raising at Iwo Jima. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and William Pinkston, Cleveland, Janet and Mike Sikes, Jefferson; son, William T. Mooney, Athens; sister, Emmie Book, PA.; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday August 16, 2016 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev.
