William "Sonny" Cash

William Eugene “Sonny” Cash, age 84 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. Mr. Cash was born on July 2, 1936, in White County, to the late George and Mary Cash Traylor. He was a retired engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation, where he worked for 30 years. In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Cash; brother, Donald Traylor. Survivors include his son, Stephen Cash, Cleveland; sister, Lottie Watts, Dalton, GA. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Gateway Health and Rehabilitation for their love and compassion. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 11, 2020 at Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
