Willie Ray Hunt

Mr. Willie Ray Hunt, age 90, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025. Mr. Hunt was born May 29, 1935, in Cleveland, GA to Tommie and Ruby Nelson Hunt. He retired from the United States Navy where he worked in aviation electronics. Mr. Hunt was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Lenora Nix Hunt and Margaret “Peggy” Hunt; siblings, Claude Hunt, Alex Hunt, Elmer Hunt, and Ronnie Hunt. Survivors include his son, Terry Hunt; stepdaughters, Marty Rowland, Tammy Hornsby, and Patty Parker; grandchildren, Cassidy Parker and Jasmyn Rabbanian; and brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Joan Hunt. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Mt. View Baptist Church.
