Willie Stamey

Mrs. Willie Stamey age 72 of Cleveland passed away Saturday November 22, 2008 while walking on a trail behind her home with her husband. Mrs. Stamey was born in Habersham County the daughter of the late William and Bessie Frady Smith. She worked at Jacky Jones Ford in Cleveland. Survivors include her husband, Grady Stamey, Cleveland; sisters, Elizabeth O’Barr. Lavonia, Betty Jo Rausch, Martin; niece and nephew, Michelle and Shan Ash, Cleveland; great nephews, Michael Ash, Matthew Ash, both of Cleveland; several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday November 24, 2008 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Interment will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Batesville. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
