Mrs. Wilma Cantrell, age 75 of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at her residence following a brief illness.
Mrs. Cantrell was born in Lumpkin County on May 1, 1932 to the late Willie David and
Mary Lou Self Lingerfelt. She was a seamstress, homemaker and a member of
Blue Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law: Rev. Lee and Lisa Cantrell, Cleveland; grandchildren: Briana Palmer, Contessa Cantrell, both of Cleveland; great grandchild: Braxten Palmer, Cleveland; sisters: Violet Barrett, Dahlonega, Dora Strain, Kennasaw, Evelyn Milton, Mableton, Syble Richmond, Dahlonega; sister and brother-in-law: Helen & Ed Anderson, Sandy Springs; brothers and sisters-in-law: Roy and Freddie Lingerfelt, Clarkesville, Ray and Margaret Lingerfelt, Gainesville, Bob & Sherry Lingerfelt, Montana, Lawrence & Faye Lingerfelt, Dahlonega and Phil & Linda Lingerfelt, Dahlonega.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2008 in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner and the Rev. Lee Cantrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday.
