Wylma Jewel Rodgers

Jewel Rodgers age 90 of Gainesville, formerly of Sautee, passed away Saturday June 21, 2014. Mrs. Rodgers was born on October 2, 1923 in Anding, Mississippi the daughter of the late Joe and Lurine Cheathem Brent. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chuck) Rodgers and her brother, Joe Brent. Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker and member of Cleveland First Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters and sons in law, Lea and Jim Perkins, Dawsonville, Mindy and Michael Harrison, Fraser, CO; sons and daughters in law, Ted and Susan Rodgers, Atlanta, Bruce and Kate Rodgers, Sautee; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday June 26, 2014 at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Cleveland – P.O.
