Yvonne Marie Hulsey

Yvonne Marie Taylor Hulsey, age 61, of Demorest, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Ms. Hulsey was born on October 28, 1961, in Habersham County, to the late Edgar Curtis Taylor and Pearl Yvonne Burton Taylor. She was a retired manager for Flowers Bakery and a member of River Road Mission. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her brothers, Curtis Taylor and Donnie Taylor. Survivors include her husband, Sammy Hulsey; son, Curtis Hulsey; brothers, Kenneth Taylor (Pam), Dennis Taylor (Becky), and Mark Taylor (Shirl); caretaker and niece, Cynthia Taylor Allen; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 20, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Trotter, the Rev. Kenneth Taylor, and the Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in Friendly Mission Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
