About Us
Our History
Barrett Funeral Home has been serving Cleveland, Helen and all of White County since 1976 and is proud of the fact it has remained locally owned and operated.
When Ricky Barrett graduated from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service, he came home to the people he loved of White County.
It had been his desire to open a funeral home in the Cleveland area. With the help of his father, Clarence E. Barrett Sr., his dream became true and in May of 1976, Barrett Funeral Home in Cleveland was opened.
The Funeral Home ran the ambulance service in White County until 1985. The funeral home offers traditional burial and cremation services.
Today, Barrett Funeral Home sits atop a hill overseeing Cleveland, Georgia, "Gateway to the Mountains." and has three visitation rooms, a chapel, and two lounges.
Together with his wife Kim and his four children and support staff, the Barrett Funeral Home is proud to serve our community to the best of our ability. The staff is available 24 hours a day and has worked hard to provide the kind of service that they would expect in their own time of need.
Our kind and caring staff are here to assist you day or night, whenever you need us. For more information on our pre-need or at-need services, simply call (706) 865-3101 or send an email to barrettfuneral@gmail.com
